Lindsey Shank
My desire to learn about and become my ‘best’ self has led me down diverse paths: studying ballet at a performing arts high school, achieving a BA in Psychology with a minor in dance, years of (sometimes unrequited) passion for impeccable service in the restaurant industry, and finally esthetics & lash artistry.
At the Denver Integrative Massage School I began to understand what I wanted my professional life to look and feel like. I saw that I could have a profound affect on my client's overall confidence as well as give the healing gift of touch; all while promoting a genuine state of relaxation. In the midst of my amazing program in Colorado life took a turn and I wound up transferring to Mitsu Sato Hair Academy in Overland Park, Kansas, where I finished their advanced esthetics program. While still in school I was offered a position at a laser clinic, and there I saw every day the importance of the confidence that esthetics services provide. But I missed being in the relaxing, spa-like environment espoused by my school in Denver so I pursued other opportunities while at the same time becoming certified in Manual Lymphatic Drainage (Dr. Vodder) and Lash Extension Artistry (Bella Lash, Lash Savvy). Crafting my own esthetics business was the logical next step.
My personal and professional experiences are the foundation of Shank Esthetics. It is here that I practice my acute attention to detail, innate artistic ability and determination for meeting your esthetic goals.
Self-confidence, relaxation, the healing human touch…these are not luxuries. I believe they are necessities. It is my passion, my life’s work, to share them with you.
